Hastings Fringe

The original idea for the Fringe Festival was to create a platform to showcase new and original work by local talent. As an actor, director and writer, I had a new play that I wanted to try out in front of an audience to gauge the reaction. I kept meeting other like-minded artists in similar situations; so the first Hastings Fringe was established and took place at The Stables Theatre in 2015.

Now in its 7th year, and despite disruption from the pandemic, Hastings Fringe Festival is still developing and providing innovative new experiences and opportunities.
